Note: The Color MultiLight feature and the Shadow Channel exportation are incompatible,
so if both features are enabled together the render will be stopped and an error message
will appear in the Maxwell console.
9.03 The Edit Tab: editing the render
The Edit panel allows you – among other things – to adjust the exposure of your image
during rendering and after the render has nished. The changes are displayed interactively
in the Preview Image and will be reected in the main render with each render update.
The following parameters are similar to those explained in Chapter 8.

9.03.01 Camera
• ISO: Sensitivity of the lm to light. The higher the ISO number, the more sensitive
the lm will be to light, resulting in a brighter image. Please note that this parameter
does not add grain/ noise to your image as is the case in the real world with higher
ISO lms.
• 1/Shutter (s): The shutter speed, specied in 1/n of a second. Species the time
light has to reach the lm. The higher the specied number, the less time the light has
to reach the lm, resulting in a darker image.
9.03.02 Tone Mapping:
Tone Mapping changes the dynamic range of an image.
